2012/2013-2013/2014 UIL Realignment

District 23-5A
Austin-2428, Bush-2144, Clements-2659, Dulles-2154, Elkins-2020, Hightower-2334, Kempner-2428, Travis-2323

District 23-5A will still face District 24-5A in the Bi District (First Round) of the playoffs.  That district consists of the following schools:
Brazoswood, Dickinson, Clear Brook, Clear Lake, Clear Creek, Clear Falls, Clear Springs

Marshall, Ridge Point, and Willowridge have been realigned to 4A and will participate in District 22-4A which is:
Marshall-1370, Ridge Point-1488, Willowridge-1451, Northbrook, Spring Woods, Stratford, Tomball, Tomball Memorial

The UIL enrollment numbers for this realignment are:
5A - 2090 students and above
4A - 1005-2089 students

**It would be my guess that with 8 teams now in the UIL competition district, we will see a 14 game district play schedule with 3 non-district games being added to the schedule, in addition to pre-district tournaments.**
